Crusade
My heart is on a crusade, you see
It does not reside here with me.
My heart is on a crusade, you see
And that's where I need to be.
I need evils to fight
And wrongs to right
Darkness to light
And monsters to smite
I cannot be whole
'Til we share the same goal.
When I take up that role
God returns what he stole.
My heart is on a crusade, you see
It does not reside here with me.
My heart is on a crusade you see
And that's where I need to be.

Echoes
The visitor walks through the square,
And he is the crowd's obsession,
All clamoring for their fair share,
They want to hold his attention.
The tailors dress him as a lord,
He dines on the finest of foods.
the blacksmiths bring a mighty sword,
The king toils to serve his moods.
Of course, one day he must depart
Though all would rather that he stayed
Without the guest within its heart
The kingdom quickly starts to fade
Wherever the man chose to go
The kingdom's prosperity shone
But that land is only echo
Thus it cannot exist alone.
The kingdom's a popular route
Full of joy when travelers arrive
The guest is well off
Out Into the Cold
I go out into the cold.
I have put on my great jacket.
Thick and warm, it protects me
but obscures my shape
as my scarf obscures my face.
In my home it is warm.
I go about my day unhindered
my face bare for all to see
and my voice loud and clear.
All can see who I am
all know me.
Out in the cold, I meet someone.
We exchange names, our voices muffled
I know who she is, but I don't know her.
I pull away my scarf,
exposing my face to the biting cold.
She hears me now,
she sees me now.
Inside now, we strip away our jackets.
We are no longer hidden beneath them
I can see her, as she can see me.
We can hea
